A month or so ago we got a email from Topshop asking if we would like to experience the personal shopping. As we are both massive Topshop fans we couldn’t wait to try it out!
We booked a appointment for 11am at Liverpool One’s Topshop and where met with personal shoppers Ursula and Charlotte who showed us around the very swish personal shopping quarters, a large sitting room, complete with cupcakes, bottled water and a bottle of Procesco (as it was 11am we didn’t manage a glass which is unfortunate!)

We had our own very roomy fitting room with a rail of clothes, jewellery, shoes and accessories which had all been chosen for us try on. We had previously given a quick summery of our style, sizes and what kind of wardrobe we where looking for, mine a honeymoon wardrobe, Sophie a spring/summer wardrobe.

Then the trying on began!


Gorgeous grey tie dye playsuit with neon and jewelled edging which came in a shorts version too.

White cut out playsuit which was perfect holiday wear (comes in peach too!)
Red and Turquoise Kimono style jacket, which is great little cover up, looks great with simple top and jeans or over a casual day dress (kicking myself that i didn’t end up buying it!)
Classic with a twist black sundress with crochet sides (which also come in cream)

During us both trying on the clothes both Ursula and Charlotte where great, coming to check on us both to see if we needed anything, offer their opinion, get you different sizes, accessories etc.. It was great to get an outsiders opinion on what suits you and try on a few things that you might not necessarily have picked up but are pleasantly surprised!
All in all it was great, fun experience for us both. We both ended up with a few new pieces (and went back for more a few days later!) and came away with a clearer understanding of what suits our shape and to sometimes try things that are out of your comfort zone as you may just be surprised on the outcome.
